Job Description
Data Systems is a small team of data engineers responsible for managing the financial, market, and reference data that supports investment research, portfolio construction, and product management functions of the firm.
We work with major financial data vendors and index providers, and develop applications and systems for numerous data extract-transform-load (ETL) processes as well as automated quality control and reporting applications. We primarily use Python and PostgreSQL on Linux, while continuing to maintain and migrate legacy systems in Perl, SAS, SSIS, and SSRS using MS SQL Server and MySQL databases on Windows. We use Airflow for scheduling job execution on a fleet of AWS-based workers.
