    Role Overview

    As a Research Grant/Contract Management II, you will monitor the financial status of multiple grants, ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and accurately allocating funds. You¿ll collaborate with Principal Investigators (PIs) and cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and assist in preparing research grant applications, focusing on budget adherence. Your work is critical to advancing our research mission and maintaining financial integrity.

    What You Will Do

    • Monitor the financial status of multiple grants within a functional group or team of Principal Investigators (PIs).
    • Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and accurately allocate grant funds.
    • Collaborate across departments to resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
    • Assist PIs in preparing research grant applications, focusing on budget preparation.
    • Analyze expenses and provide financial forecasting to support grant management.

    What You Will Need

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in health sciences, health-related field, finance, or business.
    • Three (3) years of experience in project management, research, grant or contract management, or finance.
    • Strong analytical ability with attention to detail.
    • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working in a healthcare or academic research environment.
    • Familiarity with grant management software and financial systems.
