    Job Description

    The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Research Innovation Program Manager to serve as the central hub for groundbreaking research ideas, partnerships, and funding opportunities that can transform human health outcomes.

    In this role, you will help identify, evaluate, and manage a pipeline of high-impact projects , connecting bold concepts with actionable strategies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptive, and passionate about turning visionary ideas into real-world solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Opportunity Assessment & Prioritization

    · Identify and evaluate innovative ideas and proposals that align with ARPA-H goals.

    · Prepare concise solution summaries for leadership review.

    Coordination & Pipeline Management

    · Maintain and track an active portfolio of potential projects.

    · Ensure opportunities are reviewed, prioritized, and advanced in line with mission and funding priorities.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    · Act as a liaison between ARPA-H teams and external partners.

    · Foster collaboration to advance innovative solutions.

    Process Development & Optimization

    · Design and refine processes for soliciting, reviewing, and managing solution summaries.

    · Implement systems to streamline coordination between internal reviewers and external collaborators.

    Proposal Review & Analysis

    · Conduct initial assessments of proposals for mission and funding alignment.

    · Coordinate with subject matter experts for deeper technical evaluations.

    Reporting & Insights

    · Track project outcomes and long-term impact metrics.

    · Provide data-driven insights to inform leadership decisions.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    · Associate’s degree in business, management, journalism, technical, or related field (Master’s preferred; relevant experience accepted).

    · 2+ years in project coordination, innovation management, or related roles in healthcare, research, or technology.

    · Proven ability to create workflows and improve collaborative processes.

    · Familiarity with research funding processes in government or grant-based organizations.

    · Skilled in project scheduling and timeline management.

    · Experience overseeing complex pipelines of opportunities.

    · Strong analytical skills to assess feasibility, impact, and funding needs.

    · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.

    · Professional writing ability for documentation, briefings, and presentations.

    · Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable under pressure.

    · Demonstrated success in managing shifting priorities effectively.

    Desired Qualifications:

    · Knowledge of federal funding mechanisms, including other transaction proposals and contracts.

    · Experience managing large-scale proposal or innovation pipelines.

    · Background in coordinating initiatives for government agencies, non-profits, or research organizations.

    Work Model: Hybrid (up to 60% remote)
    Clearance: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and eligible for a Public Trust clearance
    Compensation: Up to $135K/year (commensurate with experience)
