    THE ROLE…

    This position will work closely with clients providing education and data-driven insights to advise them in their business strategies. We help solve difficult business challenges and dollarize our value utilizing analytics. We are looking for an entrepreneurial business development minded person. You must have a high impact, high results mindset who can connect with our clients and think strategically and proactively anticipating a client’s needs.     The Client Manager is responsible for proactively managing the overall workflow for the book of business assigned to them and providing timely and professional day-to-day client service. Client Managers handle all lines of employee benefits for their accounts and serve as the main contact for the clients.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Main point of contact for the client – addresses questions, provides guidance on appropriate coverage changes and/or contractual requirements, informs/educates clients on benefits, communicate effectively with clients, provide exceptional customer service to clients

    • Initiates relationships with and communicates with client decision makers and personnel to effectively resolve client concerns independently from Producer

    • Attends client meetings on or off site by request

    • Initiates relationships with insurance company representatives to effectively provide superior service to clients

    • Plan, prioritize, and complete day-to-day workload for new business, renewal business and day-to-day service responsibilities for the accounts assigned in a timely manner ensuring internal/external deadlines are met

    • Coordinate the new/renewal marketing strategy for assigned clients where applicable

    • Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFPs); obtain necessary information for bid processing; negotiate with insurance carriers; prepare client proposals within required timelines including preparation and maintenance of client files

    • Ability to propose and sell additional lines of business at renewal

    • Works together with the client coordinator on employee communications materials such as benefit guides and flyers.

    • Coordinate and conduct education and enrollment meetings

    • Ensures that clients are compliant with ACA and ERISA

    • Collaborates daily with the fellow client manager and client coordinator

    • Collaborates with the data analyst on reporting for self-funded clients

    • Collaborates with client managers on the commercial team

    • Participates in training sessions conducted either onsite, online or offsite

    • Conduct all business in accordance with established policies and procedures

    • Other duties as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • 3+ years in group benefits with at least 1+ years in a Client Manager role. Experience with level-funded and partially self-funded benefit plans preferred.

    • Life & Health Insurance license

    • Self funding experience is a plus.

    • Bi-lingual – Spanish - a plus

    An organized individual with a demonstrated track record of excellent customer service and presentation skills. A strategic mindset that can autonomously work with clients to determine and deliver the products that fit their needs.
