    Residence Inn by Marriott - Providence/Coventry is seeking a Part Time Front Desk Agent!

    The Front Desk Agent (Guest Services Agent) is the ambassador of the hotel, and often will be the First Impression for guests arriving, as well as the last impression for guests departing. A successful candidate must be able to multitask, and create memorable moments for our guests in each and every interaction. This role involves a high amount of guest/customer contact, in person and over the phone.

    The position is primarily second shifts (3pm-11pm) and weekends. Pay is hourly based on experience, and is limited to 10-25 hours a week, based on the demands on the hotel's occupancy. Nights, weekends and holidays are required.

    Other Job Duties are as followed:

    • Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests

    • Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity

    • Promptly and effectively deals with guest requests and complaints

    • Answers and routes calls as appropriate; takes guest messages with accuracy

    • Responsible for cash drawer contents and transactions during shift

    • Maintains accurate records including cash flows, registration card, reservation cards, and property walks

    • Assists with sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager • Offers and properly handles requests for wake-up calls

    • Records pertinent guest information in the pass-on log
