Job Title: Resident Care Assistant

Shift: First Shift, 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Assistant to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in providing care and support to residents, ensuring their needs are met in a respectful and empathetic manner. The successful candidate will work closely with residents and team members to enhance the quality of life for those in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
- Monitor and record vital signs as instructed by healthcare professionals.
- Support the healthcare team by reporting any changes in residents' conditions or behaviors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and companionship to promote physical and emotional well-being.
- Follow established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers to provide high-quality, individualized care.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a healthcare, caregiving, or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to working with residents.
- Ability to lift and move residents safely, following standard protocols.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or similar credential is a plus.
