Job Title: Resident Care Assistant (Midnight Shift)

Shift: Midnight (10:30 PM - 6:30 AM)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and attentive Resident Care Assistant for our midnight shift to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of our residents.

Position Summary:
The Resident Care Assistant (RCA) will assist residents with daily living activities and provide support in a safe and nurturing environment during the midnight hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality care and will work closely with nurses and other team members to ensure the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal support.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report any changes to nursing staff promptly.
- Assist residents with mobility, transferring, and positioning to maintain comfort and safety.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being during the night shift.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by following all safety protocols and cleaning procedures.
- Document resident care and any changes in condition as per facility guidelines.
- Establish positive relationships with residents and their families, showing empathy and understanding.
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, including confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care throughout the shift.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact compassionately with residents and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of patient care procedures and safety practices.
- Must be able to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
