    Job Summary:

    We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Assistants to join our team at Rivercrest Place Assisted Living. As a Resident Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to residents in their daily activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to create a safe and nurturing environment for our residents.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
    - Support residents with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring safety during all activities.
    - Monitor and document residents' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
    - Help residents maintain a clean and organized living space.
    - Assist with recreational and social activities to promote engagement and socialization among residents.
    - Ensure that residents’ needs are met with compassion, dignity, and respect.
    - Follow care plans and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
    - Maintain confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
    - Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver high-quality care and support to residents.
    - Attend staff meetings and participate in training as required.

    Qualifications:

    - High school diploma or equivalent required.
    - Experience in a healthcare or residential care setting is a plus.
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    - Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
    - Physical ability to lift and move residents and assist with daily activities.
    - Basic knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of resident care practices.
