Rivercrest Place Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Assistant to join our team. As a Resident Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to residents in our facility. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the residents' quality of life by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Monitor and record residents' health status and report any significant changes to the nursing staff promptly.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including tidying resident rooms and common areas.
- Follow and implement individualized care plans according to residents' needs and preferences.
- Assist with medication management under the supervision of qualified healthcare personnel.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge related to resident care.
- Uphold the facility's policies and standards to ensure compliance and quality care.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare environment is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathetic, patient, and attentive to the needs of others.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
