    Schedule, Compensation, and Benefits

    Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift; Monday & Tuesday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Wednesday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

    Compensation: Starting at $17 per hour, with bi-weekly pay

    Duties

    Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, always upholding the resident’s dignity. Provide attentive incontinence care and catheter checks as needed.

    Administer prescribed medication and monitor resident comfort in accordance with the plan of care established by their chosen hospice team.

    Serve and assist with meals; perform light meal prep, dishwashing, and laundry to maintain a clean and inviting environment.

    Offer social support and a listening ear to residents, and foster a respectful and comforting atmosphere.

    Maintain accurate, timely updates on resident care and incidents to ensure smooth shift transitions and continuity of care.

    Qualifications & Skills

    A deep, intuitive desire to serve those at the end of life with patience and empathy.

    The ability to provide quality, relational care while maintaining the emotional maturity and professional boundaries necessary for a healthy team environment.

    A proactive approach to teamwork, ensuring the Home runs smoothly, and communication with teammates is clear and supportive.

    Comfort working in a residential setting where you can independently identify and prioritize tasks without direct supervision to support the Home’s needs.

    Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for a 12-hour shift, including frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and reaching to assist residents with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Additional Information

    Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screen, TB test, and background check. While CNA/HHA certification and fluency in a second language are not required, they may enhance your effectiveness in this role.

    This is a non-exempt position reporting to the Director of Programming.
