    Job Description

    The Field Service Representative role at Veolia Water Technologies &Solutions involves providing
    operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across various industries. This
    position is critical for ensuring the optimal performance of technologies such as media filtration,
    softening, reverse osmosis, and more. The representative will be responsible for troubleshooting,
    conducting maintenance, and performing analytical testing to meet customer needs and contract
    specifications.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on
    equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.
    Consult with customer management and operation teams.
    Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.

    ● Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical
    summaries of work performed.
    ● Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
    ● Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC,
    and other site-specific testing requirements.
    ● Assist in providing service activities including parts refurbishment, maintenance,
    calibration of equipment, inspection, repair, performance testing, customer
    communications, project assessment and execution, and telephone customer support
    ● Have the ability to work schedules that will fluctuate based on customer and business
    needs / demands
    ● Perform diagnostics testing, repairs, test and calibration routines on the instruments,
    and complete all required paperwork
    ● Collect payment information and generate shipping and billing paperwork
    ● Provide extensive equipment support and general hardware and software support
    ● Ensure compliance with all aspects of safety on the job, including the operation and
    maintenance of an assigned company vehicle (if applicable) and comply with all Veolia
    Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies
    ● Other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    ● Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams.
    ● Strong technical, mathematical and customer service skills
    ● General knowledge of electrical equipment, water chemistry and safety
    ● Vision, manual dexterity and coordination sufficient to service instruments and handle
    electrical equipment
    ● Ability to learn applicable company procedures within a reasonable time from start of
    employment
    ● Computer proficiency with a minimum of word processing and spreadsheets, and basic
    data base knowledge
    ● Ability to use ordinary hand tools, calibrated tools, and analytical instrumentation, as
    well as chemically aggressive fluids, such as acids and bases
    ● Strong verbal and written communication skills

    ● Self-motivated, with the ability to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight,
    while demonstrating significant problem solving ability with an unfailing dedication to
    deadlines and commitments.

    Qualifications

    Required:
    High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+ years’
    experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment.
    Valid Driver’s License
    Preferred:
    ● Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in
    Instrumentation

    Additional Information

    ● Regular requirement to reach with hands and arms, below and above shoulder height
    ● Regular requirement to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
    ● Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
    ● Regularly work around machines, electrical, chemicals, unprotected heights
    ● Work at customer sites where instruments may be in difficult to reach spaces requiring using a
    ladder to reach, working in close/cramped/small spaces
