Residential Building Maintenance Supervisor

We’re seeking an experienced Residential Building Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance and repair operations across our residential communities. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with CPO, EPA, or HVAC certification who enjoys hands-on work, mentoring a team, and ensuring every property is safe, efficient, and resident-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily maintenance operations, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.

Manage and train a team of maintenance technicians and custodial staff.

Coordinate make-ready processes for vacant units to ensure timely and high-quality turnovers.

Monitor and assign work orders through Yardi, HappyCo, or similar software.

Oversee vendor work, quotes, and contracts to ensure quality and cost control.

Enforce preventive maintenance programs and safety compliance (OSHA, fire codes, etc.).

Maintain property grounds, landscaping, and community areas.

Respond to emergencies and after-hours maintenance issues as needed.

Qualifications:

3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience (supervisory experience preferred).

CPO, EPA, or HVAC certification required.

Strong technical knowledge of building systems, repairs, and safety standards.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Experience using maintenance management software (Yardi, HappyCo, CompanyCam, etc.).

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines effectively.
