Beringer Fine Home is a Design/Build firm specializing in residential design and construction.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a self-motivated CAD Designer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD or SketchUp, experienced in residential construction, and capable of independently assisting in producing turn-key drawing sets based on direction from our architectural design team. Familiarity with Scottsdale-based projects is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Create and revise residential building plans and technical drawings using AutoCAD or SketchUp.

Translate architectural concepts and direction into complete, permit-ready drawing sets.

Collaborate remotely with architects, engineers, and project managers.

Ensure drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and client expectations.

Maintain organized digital archives and version control.

Deliver turn-key drawing packages with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, or related field.

Proficiency in AutoCAD or SketchUp (required).

Strong understanding of residential design principles and construction documentation.

Experience working in or with teams based in Scottsdale, AZ (preferred).

Proven experience in residential construction and familiarity with building systems.

Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment.

Excellent communication skills and familiarity with remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Slack).

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Scottsdale zoning and building codes.

Experience with 3D modeling and rendering.

Familiarity with permit-ready drawing standards and construction detailing.
