Job Title: Residential Cleaning Technician
Job Description: Cleaning Technicians play an integral role in providing great service to our residents by taking pride in their work and making sure each unit is thoroughly cleaned and presents well for new residents at time of move in. Additionally, taking the same pride in cleaning of community clubhouses and model homes.
Responsibilities:
May include, but not limited to:
Trash Removal
Removing and disposing of small items left behind by former tenants.
This position includes a company car while at work and all cleaning supplies.
Thorough Cleaning of Vacated Rental Units
Kitchen - Counters, appliances, cabinets (inside and out), fixtures, floors, clean/replace drip pans
Bathrooms - Counters, showers, tubs, cabinets (inside and out), fixtures, mirrors, floors, etc.
Vacuum/Sweep/Mop all floors
Trim and baseboards
Vent covers and switch plate/outlet covers
Clean inside all floor vents
Clean interior of windows and sills
Remove cobwebs
Sweep garage and basement
Touch Up Cleaning of Vacant Rental Units
Wipe down countertops and fixtures
Remove cobwebs
Wipe down appliances
Touch up floors
General spot cleaning prior to move-in walk through of unit.
Model Cleans
Wipe down all surfaces
Remove cobwebs
Vacuum/Sweep/Mop all floors
Remove dust from trim and baseboards as needed
Final Construction Cleans
Items included above in Thorough Cleaning of Vacated Rental Units
Eliminating construction dust and debris
Responsibilities (Cont’d): May include, but not limited to:
Paperwork/Documentation
Completing Clean Sheet for each clean and email to applicable office staff
Communication with office staff regarding cleaning supply inventory
Operating company vehicle to perform cleans
Take pictures of items needing special attention
Communicate any maintenance items noticed incomplete to the office
Troubleshoot problems and resolve efficiently and effectively
Qualifications/Skills:
Has cleaning experience
Ability to bend and stop to complete necessary cleaning
Can lift and transport 50lbs unassisted and climb ladders
Able to work scheduled hours
Reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to use an iPad for work related tasks.
Clean and presentable appearance
Professional and able to work with minimal supervision
Ability to learn new skills and be flexible
Can lift and transport 50lbs unassisted and climb ladders
Completes tasks in a safe and efficient manner
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to meet deadlines
Arrives for work as scheduled and on time
Have a valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
Ability to pass full background check and drug test.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Company Info: Located in Olathe, KS – Properties are throughout Johnson Co., KS and S. Wyandotte Co., KS
No overtime. Hours – Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch daily) Health, Dental, Vision & Life Insurances available after 90 Days of employment Paid Holidays after 90 days of employment
