Responsibilities: • Get surfaces ready to be painted by sanding away old paint and filling holes and cracks with putty • Communicate with clients to determine their needs and advise them on the right approach • Build scaffolding when needed • Apply primer or sealers to paint surfaces • Cover trim, fixtures, furniture, and floors to protect them from paint • Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers • Use a paint sprayer when the job requires it • Repair small drywall patches • Maintain a neat and tidy work area • Document your work daily in our software app on your phone • Communication professionally with the Project Managers Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license required • Should have general knowledge of painting techniques and tools, but we are willing to provide training • Candidates should have strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail • We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED • We prefer candidates with 2 years work experience and a completed apprenticeship, but not required • Must live within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, Michigan to be considered for this position • Experience with painting tools and techniques is required • Experience with a paint sprayer • Clean driving record • Must pass a drug screening • Climb ladders • Work on scaffolding Compensation: $38,000 - $52,000 yearly
