Responsibilities: • Obtain all necessary permits and licenses from the appropriate authorities and ensure construction is up to code • Comply with all best-practice health and safety standards to prevent injuries and slowdowns at construction sites, and promptly report any safety regulation issues • Conduct business with external vendors, contractors, and critical subcontractors to negotiate profitable contracts • Manage general contractors and construction workers and give guidance as needed to ensure high-quality project performance • Determine the project deliverables and specifications, including the project scope, necessary project resources, and estimated labor needed by collaborating with clients, engineers, and architects Qualifications: • Possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related fields • Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills • Minimum 1 year of work experience in construction management • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a bonus Compensation: $65,000
