We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Site Assistant to support our residential construction projects. This role is essential in helping our field team stay organized, safe, and efficient. The Site Assistant is responsible for day-to-day site setup and protection, material handling, general labor support, and coordination with the Project Manager to ensure each job site is prepped and maintained for smooth execution. Responsibilities: Site Setup & Maintenance • Assist with daily site setup and breakdown, including temporary fencing, signage, and safety barriers • Install and maintain site protection (e.g., floor coverings, dust barriers, stair protection) • Ensure job site cleanliness and organization throughout the project lifecycle • Maintain site security and proper storage of tools and materials Support to Field Team • Assist carpenters, subcontractors, and tradespeople with lifting, carrying, and tool/material retrieval • Load, unload, and transport materials to appropriate job sites • Help prepare areas for specific trades (e.g., clearing space, laying down materials) • Monitor and restock jobsite supplies as needed Material Coordination • Pick up and deliver materials, samples, or tools from suppliers or storage • Track incoming deliveries and organize materials on-site for accessibility • Coordinate with the Project Manager to forecast material needs Project Support • Communicate with the Project Manager on site progress, issues, and next steps • Support quality control by flagging concerns early and keeping the site inspection-ready • Assist with punch list tasks and final site cleanup during project closeout • Respectful and professional in client-occupied homes Qualifications: • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail • Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred, but not required. • Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and site safety practices • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions • No smoking, no alcohol, no drugs. No exceptions Compensation: $18 -$22 hourly
