The Hamlin Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Residential Estimating Assistant to join our Chamblee, GA team. This in-person position will work closely with and in support of our Lead Estimator to deliver precise, thorough, and competitive estimates for luxury home remodeling projects. Responsibilities: As a Residential Estimating Assistant, you will: • Perform accurate material and quantity take-offs. • Read, analyze, and interpret project blueprints and construction documents. • Assist the Lead Estimator with cost estimating, bid proposals, and trade partner coordination. • Research and source pricing for materials and services. • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation. • Support our team’s commitment to precision, collaboration, and integrity in every estimate. Qualifications: • 3+ years of residential construction or related industry experience. • Strong ability to read and understand construction drawings. • Excellent computer skills; proficiency in Excel, Word, and other digital tools. • Experience with digital take-off software and estimating programs (e.g., Job Tread, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, BuilderTrend, or similar) is a plus. • Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset. Compensation: $50,000 yearly
