JOB SUMMARY

This position performs service, repair, and maintenance on HVAC systems in a residential and light commercial setting.

JOB DUTIES

Services, maintains, and repairs residential and light commercial HVAC systems

Determines general condition of HVAC systems, and can troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions and determine extent of necessary repairs

Educate and Advise Customers

Clearly explain repairs performed and help customers understand system needs and replacement options when applicable.

Support Sales through System Assessments

Participate in Training and Mentorship Attend company-sponsored training and help mentor maintenance technicians as needed.

Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job

Accurate Documentation: Complete all invoices and job documentation thoroughly, including system details, service performed, and customer conversations.

Debrief and Submit Paperwork

Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving

Wears floor savers while in the client’s home

Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum number of years of verifiable experience as a Service Technician in a residential service and maintenance operation

Knowledge of the fundamental of operational functionality of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment

NATE certification preferred

EPA and RMGA required

Solid communication and customer service skills

Must have appropriate trade tools

Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen

Clean driving record
