We're searching for a full-time, TREC-licensed home inspector to evaluate properties and make sure the client knows the proper condition of the property! You’ll assess all aspects of the home or property, take note of any deficiencies that need to be addressed, and provide a full report for every client. Responsibilities: • Complete building inspections prior to sale to ensure the home meets current standards for electrical systems, roofing, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, security systems, structural components, and building codes updates • Write a detailed report following each inspection that includes photos and specific descriptions of any damages observed • Make detailed notes for each home system so that the buyer and seller are both aware of every potential problem on the property • Respond to clients’ inquiries quickly to keep them informed and provide superb customer service • Coordinate with the homeowner’s real estate agent to arrange for access to the property • Perform comprehensive home, phase, and specialty inspections (mold, thermal, pool, foundation) that meet or exceed TREC standards. • Capture clear photos, voice notes, and on‑site findings using our Spectora template. • Communicate findings to clients and real‑estate partners in plain language, supporting our culture of education and transparency. • Maintain tools, equipment, and personal PPE in safe working order; report any safety or warranty issues promptly. • Participate as a team member, including weekly team meetings to share best practices and stay sharp. Qualifications: • At least one year of work experience at a home inspection company or construction company • Must be able to manage very detailed aspects of the inspection and reporting process • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking skills • Proficient in basic computer skills, such as sending emails • Must have working knowledge of basic home systems including plumbing, HVAC units, electrical, and security alarms Must‑Have • Active Texas Professional Inspector (TREC) license with 1+ years in the field and ≥ 100 fee‑paid inspections completed. • Clean driving record, valid driver's license, reliable vehicle that can fit a ladder, ability to lift 50 lbs, and access roofs/crawlspaces. • Tech‑comfortable. • High S/C DISC profile (detail‑oriented rule‑follower who values consistency) is a plus. • Mold technician, TDA technician, septic certification, or drone certifications welcomed—but we’ll train the right inspector. Compensation: $23 - $34 hourly
