We’re looking for a licensed home inspector to assess and ensure the safety of clients’ properties! You’ll conduct building inspections, document any damages, and provide clients with a thorough inspection report. You’ll help people make confident decisions about one of the biggest investments of their lives. If you’re detail-oriented, communicate clearly, and enjoy a mix of independence and teamwork, you’ll fit right in. Responsibilities: • Flag specific repairs that might be needed, so homeowners can improve the property before it is sold • Respond to clients’ inquiries quickly to keep them informed and provide superb customer service • Perform property inspections in accordance with TREC Standards of Practice • Go through residential homes or commercial properties top to bottom to evaluate any repairs that need to be made. • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, providing clear explanations when needed and informing them of any deficiencies in a non-alarming way as trained by Forerunner. • Draft a comprehensive report, with photographs and videos, to help buyers and sellers understand exactly what the inspection revealed. • Communicate findings to clients in a calm, clear, non-alarmist way. • Maintain organization across multiple inspections, reports, and schedules. Qualifications: • Has no problem with heights or confined spaces; able to evaluate roofs, crawl spaces, and attics • Well-acquainted with basic computer programs and email applications • Must be able to manage very detailed aspects of the inspection and reporting process • Can manage a variety of projects at once and stay organized • Current U.S. driver’s license and the ability to travel by car • Must have solid customer service skills and communication abilities, verbally and in written form • Must carry proof of Texas state license. Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
