Job Title: Make Ready Technician

We clock in promptly at 8a.m. and we leave promptly at 4:30p.m. We offer a balanced work day and some great teammates to spend it with.
Prieb Property Management is in need of some seasoned Make Ready Technicians that can hit the ground running. This individual will have experience completing make-readies within the apartment industry. As a Make Ready Technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all vacant apartment units are restored timely after move-outs. You will need to use your own tools on a daily basis and are welcome to leave onsite or take home with you daily. Prieb Property Management will provide you with a company vehicle for use during business hours.
Responsibilities: May include, but not limited to:
Installing Appliances, Removing & Repairing Them (Microwave, Oven, Fridge)
Painting (interior walls, trim, ceiling)
Drywall Repairs (mud & sand sheet rock, large holes in a wall)
Plumbing (clear drain clogs, replace shower heads, pull & set toilets, replace flapper in toilets)
Electrical (replace light fixtures, replace light bulbs in vaulted ceilings)
Carpet (pull out old carpet and pad)
Misc. (replace door knobs, locks & deadbolts; program garage door openers)
Operating company vehicle to perform apartment make readies
Communication with service department regarding parts & inventory
Qualifications/Skills:
Experience in performing Make Ready Apartment completions
Has own set of tools (specifically an impact drill & circular saw)
Professional and able to work with minimal supervision
Ability to learn new skills & be flexible
Can lift & transport 50lbs unassisted
Ability to stoop & bend when necessary
Can climb ladders
Completes tasks in a safe & efficient manner
Ability to prioritize tasks & manage time to meet deadlines
Reliable transportation to & from work
Ability to use an iPad for work related tasks
Clean & presentable appearance
Valid Driver's License & Clean driving record
Pass full background & drug test
Experience:
Experience in maintenance for residential communities, other building maintenance or related trade.
Installing Appliances, Removing Appliances and Repairing
Interior painting and caulking, light drywall repair
High School Diploma or Equivalent

Hours
Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch daily)
No Overtime
No On-call
