  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a knowledgeable and organized residential construction superintendent to join our fast-growing residential construction team. This role is crucial in overseeing the day-to-day operations of home-building projects, ensuring that each phase of the construction process meets quality standards, stays on schedule, and aligns with budget constraints. The superintendent will work closely with subcontractors, vendors, and sales consultants to coordinate activities, maintain efficient workflows, and promptly address any challenges on site. Our office is located in Greensboro, NC, but we service a large portion of Eastern NC. Responsibilities: • Manage an accurate schedule for subcontractors to complete work • Collaborate and communicate with the office staff and the office management • Daily updates and communication with the clients • Adhere to company standards and core values • Post daily logs of work that is complete and work that is to be completed • Learn and utilize technical programs for the company for scheduling and operations • Manage quality, build times & adhere to local and national building codes • Assess subcontractor progress against timelines and performance targets to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to the highest possible quality Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year in residential new construction • Experience in residential custom home building • Experience in building codes and site work • Customer service skills • Teamwork and communication skills • Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles • Excellent leadership, time-management, organizational, and communication skills Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 plus variable comp bonus structure
