Outside Sales Representative – Residential Pest & Mosquito Control (Experienced D2D)
Full-Time | Base + Commission | High-Earning Opportunity
About the Opportunity
We’re seeking a driven, experienced Outside Sales Representative with a proven door-to-door (D2D) sales background. This role is focused exclusively on residential customers and combines structured canvassing, neighborhood development, and in-person homeowner engagement.
Ideal candidates come from any D2D or field sales industry (pest control, solar, alarms, roofing, internet, home services, etc.) and are comfortable owning a territory, building rapport at the door, and closing recurring service agreements.
Pest control experience is a plus — not a requirement. Product and service training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Residential Sales & Solutions
Conduct in-person residential inspections and consultations
Present tailored treatment plans for pest, mosquito, termite, rodent, or related services
Clearly explain program benefits, pricing, and long-term protection plans
Close new residential subscriptions through canvassing, appointments, and follow-up
Territory & Neighborhood Development
Prospect targeted neighborhoods to maintain a strong residential sales pipeline
Execute structured canvassing, cloverleafing, and doorstep follow-up
Build awareness through yard signs, zone targeting, and referral-driven outreach
Customer Experience & Communication
Provide clear, professional explanations of service options
Build trust through education, transparency, and responsiveness
Ensure smooth handoff to operations and occasional follow-up to support retention
Performance & Reporting
Log leads, follow-up tasks, and sales outcomes in CRM (FieldRoutes or similar)
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
Participate in ongoing sales and product training
Qualifications
Required
Previous door-to-door (D2D) or field sales experience in any industry
Strong communication skills with proven closing ability
Comfortable with commission-based sales and performance goals
Ability to quickly build rapport with homeowners
Self-motivated with strong time and territory management
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred
Pest control, home services, or recurring-revenue sales experience
Experience using FieldRoutes or similar CRM
What We Offer
Base pay: $350 per week for the first month
Commission: 20% on sales
