Deliver exceptional customer service to property owners and tenants by addressing their daily needs. This role provides stability and a supportive, friendly work environment. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE JOB Responsibilities: • Maintain precise financial records for Philadelphia rental properties using Appfolio. • Record daily transactions promptly and ensure compliance with laws regarding security deposits. • Process receivables and payables efficiently, posting payments and management fees monthly. • Address tenant delinquencies proactively and clarify charges and credits for tenants and landlords. • Review all accounts carefully for accuracy, manage utility bill payments as needed, and record annual real estate tax payments promptly. • Keep detailed tenant records and provide necessary reports for owners. Qualifications: • Experience with AppFolio or similar systems, as well as proficiency in key accounting software, is essential for this position. • We value meticulous attention to detail, excellent organization, and adaptability. Candidates should have prior experience in bookkeeping, property management, management accounting, or similar areas. Key skills include strong time management, problem-solving abilities, and clear communication. • Familiarity with Google Workspaces, MS Word, Excel, and property management software is beneficial. • The ability to excel in a fast-paced industry is vital. • Effective communication skills are essential when engaging with residents and staff. • A friendly and professional telephone manner is also necessary. Experience in real estate is a plus. Compensation: $45,000 - $52,000 yearly
