Penny Realty, Inc., one of San Diego's most established residential property management firms, is seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of homes, condominiums, and small apartment communities across San Diego County. Founded in 1965, Penny Realty has built a reputation for professionalism, ethical standards, and exceptional client service. We manage hundreds of residential properties throughout the region and continue to grow. This position is supported by an experienced administrative and accounting team, allowing our property managers to focus on property oversight, owner relationships, and delivering excellent service to residents. We are looking for a professional seeking a long-term role where they can take ownership of their portfolio and grow with the company. Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 yearly plus bonus potential. High-performing managers have six-figure earning potential. Responsibilities: • Manage a portfolio of residential homes, condominiums, and small apartment communities throughout San Diego County. • Coordinate leasing activities, including processing rental applications, executing lease agreements, and managing move-ins and move-outs. • Respond promptly and professionally to resident questions, concerns, and maintenance requests. Maintain relationships and provide updates to property owners. • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and coordinate repairs and property maintenance. • Conduct periodic property inspections and ensure properties are maintained to company standards. • Monitor local rental market trends and recommend appropriate rental pricing. • Work collaboratively with our administrative and accounting teams to ensure smooth property operations. • Deliver exceptional service to both property owners and residents. Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years of Residential Property Management experience. • Current California Real Estate License. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. • Professional demeanor and strong customer service mindset. • High ethical standards and sound business judgment. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Reliable transportation to visit properties throughout San Diego County (mileage reimbursed). • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software.
