    The Residential Construction - Office Assistant is a hybrid support role that works directly with our Sales, Estimating, and Production teams in residential home remodeling. You will assist with new client intake, project documentation, trade partner outreach, takeoffs, proposal preparation, and production support to help our team deliver a world-class remodeling experience. This is an exceptional career-path role for someone who wants to grow into Project Coordination, Estimating, or Operations within the residential design-build industry. Experience in the construction industry is going to be a key to success. Work Environment • On-Site Only – Chamblee, GA office • Occasional site visits • Monday–Friday, standard business hours • Professional yet collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented culture Responsibilities: Assist with Accounts Payable • Monitor our invoicing inbox, collect trade partner invoices, and process them for review by the project team. • Collect trade partner insurance and conduct an initial review and submission to our insurance team for monitoring. • Work with the project team and our trade partner payment schedule to ensure that our vendors are paid via our online payment system (bill.com) Lead Intake & Client Onboarding • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound leads (phone, email, or text) to create a professional and welcoming initial experience • Enter new client information into JobTread and other platforms accurately and promptly Estimating Support • Assist with quantity takeoffs, plan reviews, and material counts using digital takeoff tools • Coordinate with trade partners: send bid requests, track pricing, follow up on missing quotes • Maintain organized folders, documentation, and estimating records for each project • Support the Lead Estimator in building proposals, pricing sheets, and preliminary budgets Project Coordination & Production Support • Help prepare project files, trade agreements, selections, and documentation prior to project kickoff • Communicate with vendors and trade partners on scheduling, samples, and product details • Assist in tracking project details, selections, and client documentation to maintain organization and clarity for field teams Qualifications: What Success Looks Like in This Role • You bring order, clarity, and follow-through to a fast-moving environment • Information is organized, accurate, and ready for the team before it’s needed • Trade partners love working with you because you’re responsive and reliable • Clients feel supported and informed from the very first interaction Required Skills & Traits • Must possess a GROWTH MINDSET • Must operate with a "HUSTLE MENTALITY" and approach everything with INTENTION • Strong organizational and administrative skills • Detail-oriented with the ability to track many moving parts • Clear and professional communication skills • Tech-comfortable — especially with CRM, cloud storage, and project management tools • Basic understanding of financial practices such as invoices, expenses, and cost codes • Positive, proactive, and eager to learn the design-build business Bonus Skills (Not Required) • Exposure to residential construction, design, architecture, or a related field • Experience with JobTread (our platform), BuilderTrend, CoConstruct, or similar platforms • Ability to read floor plans or interest in learning takeoffs Work EnvironmentOn-Site Only – Chamblee, GA office • Monday–Friday, standard business hours • Professional yet collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented culture Successful team members in this role often advance into: • Project Coordinator • Estimator • Project Manager • Operations Coordinator If you want a long-term home in a company that values professional growth, craftsmanship, and excellence, you’ll thrive here.
