The Interior Selections Coordinator is one of the most important and intimate roles within our design-build process. Once a project design has been established, the work of selecting and coordinating every finish, fixture, and material that will ultimately define the space begins — and that is where this role lives. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the selection process, guiding homeowners through what can be a complex and overwhelming journey with confidence, creativity, and a steady hand. In addition to the client-facing and creative responsibilities of the role, the Interior Selections Coordinator will work closely with the broader Hamlin Group team to manage the operational side of the procurement process — including developing and processing trade agreements, managing vendor orders, and tracking all selection items through invoicing and project close-out. Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities Client Selections Design Coordination • Meet with homeowners and guide them through the full selection process, including fixtures, finishes, tile, cabinetry, countertops, hardware, and all architectural finish packages • Accompany clients on showroom visits and serve as their primary resource and advisor throughout the process • Source, research, and coordinate comprehensive finish packages that are cohesive, on-budget, and aligned with the project design intent • Maintain up-to-date product libraries, vendor relationships, and material resources to support selections across all active projects • Collaborate closely with the design and construction teams to ensure all selections are properly integrated into project documents and schedules Procurement, Trade Agreements Project Administration • Work with the Hamlin Group team to develop and create trade agreements with vendors and suppliers • Process trade agreements through invoicing and project close-out, ensuring accuracy and timely completion • Manage the purchasing, procurement, and tracking of all selection items from order placement through delivery and installation confirmation • Maintain organized records of all vendor orders, purchase orders, and accounts payable documentation related to selections • Proactively communicate with vendors and suppliers to manage timelines, resolve issues, and ensure project schedules are met Qualifications: What We Are Looking For Required • Background OR education in remodeling, interior design, architecture, or a closely related field • A firm understanding of the remodeling process as it relates to interior (and exterior) selections, knowing what is required for the finishing stages of a project. • A genuine passion for design, interiors, and the built environment — you have a creative eye and an instinct for how materials, finishes, and fixtures come together • Located in the Atlanta metropolitan area, with the ability to attend client meetings, showroom visits, and team coordination sessions in person • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you are comfortable, confident, and professional in client-facing situations • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail — you can manage multiple projects and moving parts simultaneously without things falling through the cracks • A proactive, self-directed work style with the ability to take ownership of your responsibilities and see tasks through to completion Preferred (Not Required) • Prior experience in a design-build, architecture, or interior design firm environment • Familiarity with trade accounts, vendor agreements, purchase orders, or accounts payable processes — we are willing to train the right candidate • Experience with product sourcing, showroom coordination, or finish specification • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software is a plus, but not required for this role What This Role Is Not This position does NOT require a licensed architect or a full-scope interior designer. We are looking for someone who sits comfortably in the intersection of design sensibility and client service — someone who understands how spaces are put together, knows how to listen to clients, and has the organizational discipline to manage a detailed procurement process. If that describes you, we want to hear from you. Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly
