As the BACK END DEVELOPER, you will work on a team building a serverless event streaming platform that consolidates messages from two central event streams into a database and delivers it to clients when/where appropriate.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• At least 3 years of experience working with Node
• Experience using Git and npm/yarn in a collaborative environment
• Experience with modern libraries and tooling
• Experience working on serverless applications
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Demonstrable knowledge of the following concepts:
  • Software design principles and patterns
  • Build tools (Webpack, Rollup, Babel, TS)
  • CI/CD (tools, pipelines, patterns)
  • Automated testing (unit, functional, contract, mocking)
  • Service performance tuning (instrumentation, monitoring, tracing)

GREAT ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Experience with MQ, Kafka, MQTT, Terraform, Azure, and TypeScript
• Experience working on real-time applications/platforms
