As the Ansible / CloudForms Senior Consultant, you will implement and integrate Red Hat open hybrid cloud technologies like Infrastructure-as-a-Solution (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Solution (PaaS), including Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat OpenShift, and Red Hat CloudForms. You will collaborate with project and customer team members to meet timelines and goals. You will also Contribute to project documentation and diagrams including quality assurance (QA) and ticket and bug management. Additionally, you will:

• Participate in mentoring and knowledge transfer to customers
• Develop and implement automation and integration for our customer cloud and system infrastructure solutions using Ruby, Python, or Puppet
• Work with senior staff to guide adoption of automation techniques and DevOps processes to improve cloud life cycle, including infrastructure and application uptime, availability, and time-to-market
• Design and advocate solutions using cloud technologies, design principles, integration points, and automation methods

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

• At least 7 years of experience in a related technology role in consulting, operations, development, or related internships
• At least 5 years of experience with cloud and Linux technologies
• At least 3 years of experience with automation frameworks and tools like Puppet, Red Hat Ansible Automation, or CFEngine
• Thorough working knowledge and practical experience with cloud architectures like Infrastructure-as-a-Solution (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Solution (PaaS) and their supporting infrastructures and scripting languages, including Python, Ruby, and Puppet
• Deep level of knowledge in either cloud networking (SDN) or object and block storage disciplines, as well as DevOps models and technologies
• Ability to serve as a technical mentor to consultants providing valuable, timely, and accurate technical mentoring
• Experience managing a small team in a technical leadership capacity
• Expertise in shell scripting; ability to effectively write in an interpreted language like Python (Red Hat standard) or Perl
• Ability to read and understand C or a similar programming language
• Experience performing performance tuning on customer’s environment
• Active Top Secret clearance
