As the Technical Business Analyst, you will lead requirements gathering and analysis sessions, both on-site and remotely, to gain a strong understanding of client objectives. You will document business needs and translate them into operational requirements. You will also create drafts of epics and stories to seed backlog to begin the refinement process. Additionally, you will:

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, demos, and retrospectives
• Mitigate impediments that may impact successful team completion of release/sprint goals
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders in the delivery of key initiatives

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

• At least 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in a consulting environment
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
• Experience examining business systems and processes to identify user needs, document requirements, and epics and stories, and addressing operational issues
• Ability to obtain and identify project requirements from client end users
• Ability to translate business vision into defined and prioritized stories for the team backlog
• Expertise in various business analysis methodologies, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, and user acceptance testing and product documentation
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex customer needs and translate them into stories with actionable acceptance criteria
• Ability to translate high-level business needs into determined processes and provide status updates and reports
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall
• Ability to translate a requirement to code deliverables
• Experience with wireframing tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts into layman’s terms
• Strong technical aptitude for picking up new technologies and aligning requirements to practical solutions
• Problem solver, detail oriented, and confident decision maker
• Comfortable working independently and self-managing to complete deliverables
• A learning mindset - ready to experience new ideas and situations regularly
