As the Java Spring Boot Back-End Developer, you will design, build, test, maintain, and have a direct and meaningful impact on the roadmap of our technology platform. You will design and develop back-end components of highly scalable e-commerce web and merchandizing applications.

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

• Experience with modern libraries and tooling
• Significant Java programming skills and data structures
• Significant micro services architecture and development skills
• Significant experience with the Spring Boot framework (Persistence, REST, Messaging, Integrations)
• Significant experience on core features of Spring such as dependency injection, aspect-oriented programming, and Spring Security
• Significant knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra)
• Significant experience in messaging architectures and development (Kafka or equivalent
• Experience building RESTful APIs and a deep understanding of REST principles
• Experience with Docker or similar, GIT, CI/CD, and writing unit/integration tests
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with strong initiative, quality deliverables, and ability to work under pressure
• Business-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment
