    As the Service Desk Technician, you will support and assist employees in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer hardware systems, software, networks, or related technology. You will provide daily support to end users both onsite and offsite (field and overseas) by assisting with problem analysis and help desk ticket resolution. You will also set up and deliver workstations and necessary peripheral devices as assigned. Additionally, you will:

    • Provide advice on resolving technology related issues which may include network, hardware, phones, and printers
    • Monitor and properly manage assigned help desk tickets
    • Maintain proper logs and records of computer and software deployments
    • Assist workers in the use of hardware, software, or other technology
    • Basic knowledge of networking, TCP-IP, VoIP, Microsoft Windows, and Server
    • Understanding of networking technology including routing, switching, wireless technology, firewalls, VPN, and remote access

    What You’ll Need to be Successful:

    • Associates degree or equivalent technical certification
    • At least 3 years of experience with computer networking and support
    • Demonstrated success as a computer technician
    • Knowledge of IT terminology and functional understanding of Service Management and Delivery
    • Knowledge of networking, internet security, and troubleshooting
    • Proven success in customer service
    • Ability to train staff with varying degrees of proficiency on technical content
    • Ability to handle constantly changing workload and priorities
    • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
