As the Security Analyst, you will research, manage, and report on customer security assurance, data protection, and privacy questions. You will work closely with different product security and information security teams to help reduce sales friction and enable the client's effectiveness at winning new business and retaining current customers. You will also drive security compliance and sales enablement by assessing and resolving current and prospective customers’ security and/or compliance requests. Additionally, you will:

• Engage with sales, field, and internal support personnel to understand product security architecture, implementations, and operations to adequately address customer security questions
• Process information security questions within the confines of customer and 3rd part GRC portals
• Leverage automated process work streams to support acceleration of customer requests
• Partner with information security, technical marketing engineers, product managers, and other SMEs to manage responses to RFPs, RFIs, security assessments, and other pre-sales questionnaires
• Support sales opportunities by addressing customer’s detailed technical security questions
• Report on customer trends and identify new areas within security for creation of collateral
• Maintain internal security metrics/reports

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

• At least 2 years of experience in information security risk, governance, or compliance, preferably in the SaaS or cloud security space
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• Prior knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST, FedRAMP, SOX, PCI and other information security frameworks/regulations
• Experience with Proposal and Knowledge Management applications (Qorus, Loopio, RFPIO, Qvidian)
• Ability to work with internal and external customers and stakeholders in a cross-functional manner
• Self-starter, ability to manage multiple simultaneous engagements, and attention to detail
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well with different functions within the organization and report to management on customer trends

Great Additional Skills:

• Experience performing third-party risk assessments and knowledge of industry standard questionnaires and vendor management documents, e.g. SIG, CAIQ, CCM Matrix (from Cloud Security Alliance)
• Experience using Salesforce
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), business continuity, ISMS programs, and vulnerability and incident management areas within security
• Familiarity with drafting enterprise information security policies
• Familiarity with reporting and metrics or data analytics
• Security and other related certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, and/or ISO Lead Implementer
