As the NetApp Storage Management Consultant, you will support our financial services client, both on site and remotely. You will create technical documentation from client certification work. You will also prioritize working on a number of different projects simultaneously and work with a geographically disperse team.

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

• Previous system administration and IT support work history
• Familiarity with NetApp product suite, including:
  • ONTAP 9 and 7-mode
  • SolidFire/ElementOS
  • ActiveIQ Unified Manager
  • OnCommand Unified Manager Core (DFM 7-mode)
  • OnCommand Insight
• Strong NAS background
• Experience with NFSv3 and NFsv4 with Kerberos authentication
• Experience with CIFS
• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills, particularly RHEL7
• Strong VMWare ESX administration skills
• Good Windows Server (2k12,2k16) administration background
• AWK scripting knowledge; other scripting knowledge acceptable
• Ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of IT related issues
• Networking (TCP/IP) and switch (Cisco NX-OS) knowledge
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
