As the Technical Writer - Documentation Specialist, you will work closely with the technical team to develop and edit content using attention to detail and a concise and user-friendly writing style. You will coordinate with subject matter experts and product developers to gather technical requirements to create documentation for complex infrastructure projects. Additionally, you will:

• Create technical documentation and user stories for technical and non-technical audiences
• Create simple and clear documentation around complex technical concepts and ideas
• Compile, organize and write online help files to support end-users.
• Work with senior level stakeholders to understand technical ideas and translate them into understandable documentation
• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of product and documentation requirements
• Create templates for a variety of document types to ensure the consistency and continuity of documentation across all lines of business
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or related field
• At least years of experience developing technical documentation
• Desktop publishing experience - Microsoft Word preferred
• Strong verbal, presentation, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to work with scientific requirements and translate them into technical documentation as necessary
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and graphics
• Ability to work on several projects concurrently and work well under pressure.
• Ability to be persistent in a professional and positive manner
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivation to seek out gaps in documentation and fill in those gaps
