RESORT GROUNDS SPECIALIST DESCRIPTION
Reports to: General Manager | FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time or Part-Time
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Resort Grounds Ranger is a hands-on team member to help keep the resort safe, beautiful, and guest-ready year-round. This is a year-round outdoor role with varying seasonal responsibilities. In the winter, this role focuses on snow removal and ice management. Snow shifts may include overnight or early morning hours during storms with light maintenance responsibilities while not performing snow removal duties. In warmer months, hours are more consistent with daytime grounds and maintenance work. In the warmer months, responsibilities shift to lawn care, landscaping, and light maintenance. This position plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the resort.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Winter Season
Spring–Fall Season
Light Maintenance (Year-Round)
Perform basic repairs such as fixing signs, painting, or replacing light bulbs.
Assist with upkeep of outdoor furniture, fencing, and amenities.
Report larger maintenance needs to the appropriate team or supervisor.
Support special projects, seasonal setups, and general resort upkeep.
Administer propane fills for motorhomes and 20-3-40 lb canisters.
Winterization and start up of seasonal features.
Use of small to mid-size gas powered equipment
Other duties as assigned
