    RESPONSIBILITIES AT A GLANCE

    • Ensure resort safety by patrolling the property, checking lights, door locks, and identifying safety hazards.
    • Investigate incidents such as thefts, auto accidents, and guest complaints.
    • Administer First Aid, CPR, AED, and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
    • Monitor security systems and alarms; challenge suspicious persons and manage incidents with intoxicated guests.
    • Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
    • Support Front Desk with guest services and occasional assistance with deliveries.
    • Ensure confidentiality in handling guest and employee incidents.
    • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold resort standards at all times.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
    • Certificate of Completion in Safety and Security Training preferred
    • CPR/First Aid/AED/Heimlich Maneuver Certified; can also arrange to have certification done through the resort
    • Must have a valid driver license for the applicable State and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record property specific-driving)

    PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

    Resort Safety Officers work in fast paced environments. This job may be required to stand for long hours and are exposed to Florida weather conditions, including high heat and humidity.

    HOURS REQUIRED

    40 hours per week, 3:00PM – 11:00PM shift , will be required to work weekends and/or holidays.
