  • Responsibilities

    Jewish Federation of St. Louis seeks a highly motivated Resource Assistant who will provide administrative support to the Development Team while demonstrating effective use of technology systems and providing excellent customer service to constituents, participants, and professional staff. The successful candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in providing administrative support in a team environment, with an emphasis on effective communication, strong attention to details, data management experience, and project prioritization skills. This position will be a member of the Development Team and report directly to the Senior Director of Transformational Giving.

    Responsibilities of our Resource Assistant:

    Providing administrative support to professional staff, including, but not limited to:

    • Providing administrative support to professional staff, optimizing workflow and logistics;
    • Supporting legacy giving efforts through communication, administration and donor stewardship;
    • Supporting process efficiency, including developing and documenting work processes, including timelines/schedules for owned responsibilities;
    • Other duties as assigned

    Our ideal Resource Assistant candidate meets the following criteria:

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • A minimum of two (2) years experience in a support role
    • A minimum of two (2) years' experience in data management
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Experience working with databases and/or CRMs
    • Demonstrated organizational skills and an ability to support strategic plans
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail
    • Ability to use discretion when handling and communicating sensitive information.

    Jewish Federation of St. Louis offers an extensive benefits package including health, dental, 403(b), paid vacation, paid holidays, sick and personal time, life insurance, LTD and more. The starting pay for this position will be between $43,000 and $52,000 annually, depending on experience.
