    SUMMARY

    Responsible for the concrete and construction aggregate sales process, including identifying new business, generating and pursuing leads, and servicing existing customers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Promote safety at all times per company policies.
    • Provides solutions to customers and alleviates concerns "in the field" through thorough investigation and problem-solving skills
    • Identifies new markets and targets specific accounts and prospects to meet or exceed sales objectives.
    • Develops new applications to maximize customer value and company profitability
    • Leverages marketplace feedback to communicate and support the development of new products and services with technical experts and management team.
    • Has a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s products, services, and policies.
    • Analyzes market-based on key drivers and recommends direction to manager accordingly
    • Provides product quotes to customers as required
    • Provides technical assistance to meet customer needs.
    • Meet or exceed budgeted sales volume, average selling price, and profitability goals.
    • Professionally represent the company at industry, trade association, customer, legislative and technical meetings and various social and business functions.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 8+ years of sales experience; previous experience selling aggregate and concrete sales preferred.
    • Able to deal with the public, staff, neighbors, and management in a positive, courteous and respectful manner
    • Knowledge of software systems such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Knowledge of Construction Materials and related industries
    • Independent problem solver who works well in a team environment
