JOB DESCRIPTION: Resource Management Solutions has an opening technical recruiter in our Long Beach, California office. The ideal candidate will have prior experience staffing in construction, engineering, or another closely related industry and will be a team-player who is professional, diligent, and has great people skills with a positive attitude. This position involves identifying, screening, placing, and managing contract and full-time employees within niche industries.

POSITION LOCATION: Long Beach, CA, though may be temporarily remote due to COVID-19.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Locating and placing qualified candidates per client requirements; working with other recruiters in a team environment to fill positions. • Utilizing company database and online resources such as job boards and social media to network with candidates. • Developing and cultivating relationships with employees and candidates; regularly communicating with them to maintain contact. • Identifying and attending networking activities such as career fairs, professional association meetings, etc. • Developing new business and manage current accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS: • Prior recruiting experience, specifically within construction, engineering, petrochemical, or other closely related technical field preferred. • Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet, and networking sites. • Excellent critical thinking, written, and communication skills. • Ability to work autonomously and multitask to manage various projects and job orders simultaneously. • The progression from this position involves marketing services to clients and recruits, so a sales aptitude is preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: • College degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field is preferred.
