LEGAL ASSISTANT / PARALEGAL

SALARY:
$45,000- $70,000 Annually - Excellent benefits: Medical, Vacation, Sick, 401K
INDUSTRY: Wills & Trust, Probate, Durable Power of Attorney, Trust Administration, Conservatorships & Guardianships
THE ROLE: Fulltime Legal Assistant/Paralegal opportunity. Great for an experienced candidate who strives in a fast pace environment. Experienced in Probate law and estate planning, trust administration and conservatorships is essential for this role. Position is supporting a solo practitioner to be the right-hand lead.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Greet clients, answer phones, and respond to client emails and set appointments • Copy, fax, scan, and file documents. Enter Client data • Request intake information from clients, and prepare intake files • Draft letters and legal documents for clients
• Responsible for the preparation and service documents for notice of hearing • Maintain calendar of court hearing and deadlines
SKILLS AND MUST HAVES: • 3-5 years as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal in Probate Law/Estate Planning • Experience in Timeslips (Preferred) • Microsoft Office Suites: Outlook, Word and Excel • Strong organization and time-management skills • Working knowledge of procedures in all area of probate law • Strong written and oral communication skills
