    Are you an experienced early childhood professional looking for a dynamic role where you can apply your knowledge in multiple areas of preschool operations? The Goddard School in Cordova, TN, is seeking a versatile and dependable Resource Teacher to support both our classrooms and front office operations. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned preschool teacher, curriculum specialist, or former director who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys wearing many hats.

    About the Role

    As a Resource Teacher, you'll play an essential part in supporting our school’s daily operations and long-term goals. You'll serve as a classroom floater, provide teacher planning breaks, assist with front office tasks, and act as a backup cook when needed. You'll also help prepare the school for NAEYC accreditation by supporting documentation, observation, and process alignment.

    We’re looking for someone who is organized, flexible, and passionate about high-quality early childhood education.

    Key Responsibilities

    Float between classrooms to support teaching teams and ensure smooth transitions

    Provide coverage for teacher breaks and planning periods

    Serve as backup cook when the kitchen staff is unavailable

    Support the documentation and preparation processes for NAEYC accreditation

    Assist with administrative duties in the front office as needed

    Support classroom environments that foster social-emotional growth and learning

    Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for children

    Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance school operations and classroom effectiveness

    Qualifications

    Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare center

    Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

    Child Development Associate Required

    Strong understanding of NAEYC standards, as well as ITERS and ECERS

    Experience in curriculum implementation, classroom management, or preschool leadership roles

    Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

    Able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with child care responsibilities and emergencies

    Comfortable working with all age groups, from infants to pre-K

    Flexible, team-oriented, and eager to support wherever needed

    Must demonstrate empathy, dependability, and professionalism
