Resource Teacher Key Responsibilities:

Classroom & Student Support Responsibilities

Portion and deliver daily snacks to classrooms.

Heat and deliver lunch to students.

Provide classroom support during breaks and transitions.

Assist with decorating classrooms and school spaces to support instructional themes and events.

Instructional Materials & Supply Management

Organize and maintain supplies needed for daily lesson plans.

Monitor and manage inventory of snacks, cleaning and janitorial supplies.

Oversee weekly cleaning and sanitizing of classroom toys and materials.

Provide management with suggested order quantities for school supplies and snacks

Kitchen & Facility Support

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen area.

Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items and supplies.

Schoolwide Support & Events

Assist in coordinating special events, celebrations, and school programs.

Provide logistical support for schoolwide activities as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma required

Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting

Shows empathy and compassion for young children

Basic understanding of child development

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
