    Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)
    Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

    Required Qualifications:

    • Traveler Experience: No 1st-time travelers unless demonstrating high-level, accurate skillset

    • Licenses/Certifications:

      • Certs marked with * are preferred BLS, NC Start License*, NPS*, NRP, PALS, RRT
    • Clinical Expertise:

      • Work Settings: Emergency Dept, NICU, Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatrics

      • Airway Management: ETT suctioning, extubation, intubation assist, trach suctioning, nasal/oropharyngeal suctioning, pulmonary hygiene

      • Ventilator Management: BiPAP, CPAP, HFOV, IMV, SIMV, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, weaning from mechanical ventilation

      • Medication Administration: Albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, Nitric Oxide, Pulmicort, Racemic Epinephrine, Tobramycin, Xopenex, Terbutaline Sulfate

      • Oxygen Therapy & Delivery Systems: Bag & mask, ET tube, HFNC, portable oxygen tank, T-piece, trach collar, aerosol setups

      • Pediatric/Neonatal Equipment: Bubble CPAP, oscillating ventilator, umbilical blood gases, Servo-I, Servo-N, HOFV-3100 A & B, Hamilton T1, Airvo heated HFNC

      • Documentation: EPIC & Pyxis experience (Required)

    Preferred Skills (Not Required, But a Plus):

    • Direct intubation (Neonatal/Peds)

    • Bronchoscopy patient care

    • Inter-departmental and ambulance patient transport

    • High-risk delivery assistance

    • Care for patients with BPD, RSV, RDS, near drowning, and TTN

    • Basic EKG and ABG drawing

    Job Details:

    • Ratios: Vary by unit — NICU, PICU, Peds Floor, Peds ED

    • Shifts: 3x12s or 4x12s accepted (No block scheduling)

    • Call: May be required, based on workload

    • Float: Yes, across all pediatric units

    • Orientation: 36 hours provided

    • Scrubs: Black (not provided)

    • Patient Types: Pediatric & Neonates (50–60% NICU & PICU cases daily)
