    Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (Allied)

    Location: Lawrence MA
    Employment Type: 13 week contract
    Shift: 8 hour evenings

    Pay Rate: up to $1900/weekly + benefits from day 1!

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (Allied) to join our healthcare team. The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services to patients across various clinical settings, supporting the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cardiopulmonary conditions while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders

    • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support

    • Perform diagnostic testing, including ABGs, pulmonary function tests, and pulse oximetry

    • Manage mechanical ventilation and non-invasive respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP)

    • Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in rapid response or code teams

    • Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and equipment

    • Document all treatments and patient responses accurately in the EMR

    • Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment

    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams

    Qualifications:

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (required)

    • Current RRT or CRT credential from NBRC (RRT preferred)

    • Active state respiratory care license, where applicable

    • BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred based on assignment

    • Minimum [1] year of clinical respiratory therapy experience preferred (new graduates considered)

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong knowledge of respiratory care protocols and equipment

    • Ability to work independently and in high-acuity environments

    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods

    • Lift and reposition patients and equipment as needed

    • Ability to wear required PPE and comply with safety protocols
