Our hotel restaurant is looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude. Responsibilities: • Check customers age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, mixed drinks, and more • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system • Take food orders and serve, ensuring that guests' preferences and requests are fulfilled Qualifications: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired • Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) Compensation: $9 - $9.50 hourly
