The Busser is responsible for supporting servers and maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the dining area. Bussers ensure tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset promptly to provide an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clear dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables promptly and efficiently.
- Clean and reset tables for the next guests, ensuring proper table settings.
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages when needed.
- Refill water glasses and provide bread or condiments as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, including floors, chairs, and service stations.
- Empty trash and maintain cleanliness in bus stations and surrounding areas.
- Assist in keeping restrooms clean and stocked as assigned.
- Ensure all used dishes are brought to the dishwashing area in an organized manner.
- Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and maintain a positive attitude.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
