We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. As the Restaurant Supervisor, you will oversee the dining experience, ensuring that guests receive top-notch service while managing and training staff to maintain high standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to guide and support the front-of-house team.
Duties
Lead and supervise the serving staff to ensure efficient and professional service delivery.
Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
Manage daily operations including inventory control, cash handling, and POS system management.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Perform as host when needed: welcoming guests, seating, and managing reservations in OpenTable.
Assist on the floor when necessary by running food, clearing tables, and serving water or wine.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with management on staffing needs and scheduling.
Oversee shift management to guarantee smooth operations during peak hours.
Conduct regular staff meetings and reinforce training initiatives.
Experience
Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Head Server, or in a similar supervisory role.
Strong background in fine dining or high-volume casual dining environments.
Excellent customer service and hospitality management skills.
Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
Knowledge of barista or coffee preparation is a plus.
