Prestonwood Country Club Restaurant Chef (A La Carte) – Country Club
We are seeking an energetic, creative, and hands-on Restaurant Chef to help lead our culinary operations in our a la carte restaurant. This role works closely with the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Front-of-House leadership to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests.
This position is ideal for a passionate culinary professional who thrives in a high-volume, service-driven environment and enjoys creating seasonal menus, daily specials, and elevated presentations.
Key Responsibilities
Create, cost, and execute seasonal menus and daily specials for the a la carte restaurant
Prepare and oversee all food production including sauces, soups, proteins, vegetables, starches, salads, and sushi
Ensure food quality, consistency, portion control, and timely service
Oversee restaurant buffet setups, presentation, breakdown, and special events
Maintain high standards of sanitation, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness
Assist with hiring, scheduling, training, and supervising culinary staff
Order kitchen supplies and assist with monthly inventory
Minimize food waste and loss through proper controls
Interact professionally with members and guests, delivering excellent customer service
Effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience as a Restaurant Chef or Sous Chef (private club experience preferred)
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts preferred
ServSafe Certified
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
High attention to detail and professionalism
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $65,000–$68,000 annually, based on experience
Health insurance after 30 days (medical, dental, vision, life, disability)
Paid time off (vacation and sick/personal time)
401(k) eligibility after 6 months

Interview Process
